Ivy – Finished

Well I finally finished Mira’s Ivy yay she is a present for my niece’s birthday…. which was at the end of February… oops, she is all wrinkly still but you get the idea.

She is stitched on a Countrystitch fabbie, it was 32count Belfast – Hazy Dayz, I used Cleadal’s conversion for the dress, converted the wings myself to look nice and sparkly, I removed all the beads and just did them in krenick to match the wings

Of course I got bored

with LotM (temporarily at least) so I pulled out an old WIP.  This WIP has a bit of a story to it, it was the first Mirabilia I fell in love with and bought.  This is the pattern that got me truely hooked on cross stitch (with a vengance!)  I started it on a hand dyed blue shaded fabby but it just looked wrong, so I unpicked it all and started it all over again on this piece of Lavender Dreams from Countrystitch.  So I really love this piece, but it has been a bit trying, it has grown surprisinly fast though

Without further ado… I give you Waiting for Ships

I got my round for the UFO WWRR, it is L&L’s Fairy Dreams, I have decided I really like this pattern, so much nicer in real life (as usual) I have this pattern somewhere so it just moved up my to do list   I will post before and after photos when my round on it has finished

Next up is this weeks progress on Celtic Summer, I finished the right hand side border and just have that little bit of skirt and then the beading to go!! I am so excited, it is hard to put it down til next week!  It will be a bit late for Stephies birthday but she is not upset, so that is good

Lots of stitching update

Okey dokey..

Here is this weeks progress on Celtic Summer, my order with my gold thread finally arrived so I just filled in a lot of gold gaps this week

Here is my latest (for myself) naughty start    I joined a UFO round robin, and sent off Three for Tea so decided that gave me an excuse to start a new one LOL

Lady of the Mist – Mirabilia, started in July – stitching on 32count Lugana – Eden from Countrystitch

 Here is my other start…. But this one is allowed LOL

Midnight Boo – artwork by Chrissy Clark charted by Stab and Stash she is being stitched 1 over 1 on a hand dyed from Stab and Stash.  My photo is terrible, it is an extremely dull day today so it has come out very dark, and I managed to get a shodow over it!  I tried with a flash, but then it was all over exposed so you will have to put up with this for today
