Floss toss

for JAF on CS Taupo. What do you guys think? I think I still love the razzle….. I think Mike might just have to put up with it…….. see I am not as nice as I seem LOL. I would say that Mike is probably just not used to the bolder colours……. yet LOL

Okay so

after Noreen’s comment on my floss toss below I am wondering if I should follow my instincts and do July’s Amethyst Fairy on my beautiful fabbie acquisition and prove Mike wrong? What do you all think? I shall do a floss toss later today on Taupo and you guys can give me your opinion

After much

discussion with Mike I have decided to use this piece of fabric for a mermaid, which he agreed would look lovely on there, before that he was saying horrible things about my stash acquisition!! *gasp!* *shock* *stunned horror!!* I have ordered the new Mirabilia Mermaid, she might work on there and if she doesn’t………. I have tons of other Mermie patterns LOL

So I am now going to stitch July’s Amethyst Fairy on a piece of CS Taupo, which Mike likes her better on………. and since he has to look at her too I suppose that is okay LOL He really felt the other was too watery looking for my fairy!!! Not gonna ask his opinion about these things again!! Okay who am I kidding!! I just can’t help myself!! LOL I always ask him or Mum

So I will have to start a mermaid soon as well LOL….. gosh all these new starts and here I was promising to get some finishes before I even considered starting something new LOL

Been lazy today :)

I went swimming and organized some wedding stuff and then I stitched on Celtic Noel for a bit then went out with mum and found some music for the wedding……..

I got some lovely mail today!!

This is my first piece of fabbie from Stab and Stash, called razzle and it is gorgeous!! My picture does not do it any favours! I also got another small cut of a different colour, but my camera batteries died so will show you tomorrow the floss toss is for July’s Amethyst Fairy which I have decided to definetly do on this piece

On the stitch a long front, I was contacted by Kristin who doesn’t have a blog – yet LOL- and we are going to stitch a long on Celtic Summer, if anyone else wants to join in then please put your hand up! LOL

Joyce I think I might join in with the Tso stitch a long next year too

Well I am thinking that it might be fun to do a stitch a long with some one/ones LOL Just one day a week or even a month?

RoS 90 hours!!!

I can’t believe my dedication in staying with this so long!!! Or the amount of time I have spent stitching lately! LOL Need to do more housework!! I have nearly finished the left hand side of the arch, when I have I think that I will work on Celtic Noel or Mermaids of the Deep Blue for a bit.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments! I ended up with Elle’s tummy bug ewwwww!!!!! So have ended up with more time off work, which I can’t really afford, but anyway…….. more stitching time, today anyway, when I finally feel like stitching

So tired

It feels like I’m on a merry go round, but its not much fun!

Gabrielle has had a tummy bug (ewwww) and between work, wedding plans, kids, and swimming (I am now swimming 5 mornings a week) I feel stuffed. Mike picked me up from work tonight, so we got to spend a little time together this evening. He has been packing up his house in preparation for moving out so the new owners can move in!

Mike will be staying with his sister for the few remaining weeks until our wedding……. BUT half his stuff is here and I have no where to put it, my house looks like something exploded in it and it makes me a bit down…..

In brighter news……… I made a new blogging friend Needle Caboodle her blog is really new but it is sure to have lots of interesting stuff Hi Noreen!

Also Mum pointed out to me that the right hand side of the arch for Rose of Sharon doesn’t have roses twined down it, that is a relief as I was panicking about getting it done in time
