life continues…….

:)

Anne: Glad to hear you were looking forward to the “dratteds” (LOL) I gave mine away! I just couldn’t stand them anymore! *gasp*

Nic: I’ll get a picture up of my kitted up next projects soon. I have just been really busy with the Trade Me stuff. Can’t seem to keep up with all the work at the moment *sigh* have hardly stitched at all this week! It is great that stuff is selling though :)

We went and looked at a house today, but we weren’t able to see inside so I have arranged for us to go back tomorrow and have another look, one of the rooms looked really tiny, so we will have to see if it will be okay. On the up side though is had a huge back yard and was really well fenced.

I have stitched a little bit more on my purple fat mermaid but I have only managed about 3 hours on her so far. Its ridiculous! LOL

Well thats it…. although busy, my life is boring :)

I did a bit or organization yesterday…

November 24, 2005

I am setting up my kitted projects a different way. I have bought some folders (only 3 to start with) and I have put in them the plastic inserts for the stitchbows. If I already have the colour I need then I put it in its slot :) Then I have put in a plastic sleeve for the fabric baggie to go in and another for the pattern to go in and another for the photocopied pages :) Then I have a little zip lock bag which I have hole punched and in that I have the beads and any speciality threads and my list of whatever else I require to finish kitting the design up. It looks really cool and I had lots of fun doing it :)

I started the purple voluptuous mermaid last night. Didn’t get much done but it looks good :)

Wow I am zooming along

November 21, 2005

on The Scent of Old Roses! I just finished another 10 hours on her and I am STILL enjoying her so she will stay on :) Now that I have the bottom part of the dress done she is just flying along!

I have been doing a lot more stitching than I should have though :-} but I have the flu so there you go :)

It went well with housing NZ today, just have to get one thing to them and that should arrive in the mail tues or weds. It sounds like we are pretty high on the list though, fingers still crossed :)

I have started kitting up my next projects. I have the fabric for Rose of Sharon (Lavender Dreams – Country Stitch) The Teacher (Toitoi – Country Stitch) Mothers Arms (just plain) and Spring Queen (Sparkling Wisteria – Country Stitch, of course LOL) I have most of the threads and amazingly enough both The Rose of Sharon and The Teacher (my next 2 starts) don’t have any beads or Krenicks so they are cheap(ish LOL) I am hoping for some threads for Xmas and I think maybe my Mum and Meg will gift me some as they both asked for a thread list, hoping, hoping, hoping LOL

What a great day of stitching!!!

The Scent of Old Roses @ 80 hours

I finished my 10 hour round on her last night and then since I was still enjoying her I put the beads in as well :) I have found the perfect way to work! I am still going to have a list of projects and I will still go through them in order, but if after my 10 hours I am still enjoying what I am stitching on I will continue to work on it. :) ) I feel very happy to have finally figured myself out LOL

I had forgotten yesterday morning that it was Dawn’s turn to have my kids for the afternoon and what a great afternoon it was too! I really really needed it!

I watched (or is that listened to LOL) two movies last night. Carolina which was really good and Batman begins which was pretty slack….. but it was something to listen to while stitching :)

I haven’t heard from Linda about Santa’s Woes and I am getting really worried that she may not like it *cringe* hopefully I hear from her soon!

I have an appointment on Monday morning with a lady from Housing NZ with the possibility of having a house pretty quickly, so fingers crossed that that will go well!

Things are selling quite well on Trade Me so things are looking up :)

You are a Lily: You are graceful, gentle, calm, …

HASH(0x8c173cc)
You are a Lily:

You are graceful, gentle, calm, and pure and
perhaps a little shy (though your shyness is
part of your charm). You are a very honorable
person who always wants to do the right thing.
Your calm attitude has a soothing effect on
others.

Symbolism: The lily has long been used as a symbol
of majesty, honor, chastity, and purity of
heart.
